ATV3 Update to 7.x not possible

Hi,

I have four ATV3, one configured for plexconnect and tried to update to the new OS. Three have worked, only that one with the plexconnect profile doesn't work.

I've deleted the profile and restarted ATV3, but still no update possible.

Does plexconnect have any influence on the update functionality? Any suggestions?

Yes, PlexConnect blocks the Update service so you only update consciously.

Set you DNS settings back to "Automatic" and then invoke the update. Once the process is finished, just switch your ATV settings back to the IP of your PlexConnect machine.

Looked really everywhere but not into the DNS and not in the manual. ;-))

I believe you can also set a value in settings to enable updates even if you are on PlexConnect DNS's.

You need to change from PlexConnect's DNS. In my case it didn't help and i just updated via iTunes.

No need for iTunes. Set aTV DNS to auto and update from your aTV.

I know that. In my case it didn't help-Update was not succesful in both of them after the download of the update.
