Would it be possible to add, Audio source Playback feature with the Apple TV video player?
Currently on the pre-installed Apple TV+ app, while in the video playback users can swipe down from the top and select audio source, giving the user the ability to send audio through their HomePod, AirPods or any third-party audio speakers/headphones. Without the need to first go through the Settings app and manually select audio source.
This is a very convenient feature on the Apple TV, however it has not yet found its way to the Plex app, is this feature currently in the works? And can we look forward to seeing it in the near future?
With tvOS 13 it’s now possible to select the target audio device from any app at anytime through the new Control Center.
Using Apple TV Control Center on tvOS 13
To open Control Center, hold down the TV button on your Siri Remote. That will open up a side menu on the right side of the screen. There you can choose from its different options such as changing audio outputs, switch users (if you have more than one set up), and put the Apple TV to sleep.
