Unlike other players on the Apple TV, I am unable to switch audio output destination after swiping down.
TV Speakers / HomePod, etc.
Did anyone ever get back to you on this? I’ve got the same issue which is preventing playback on my rear speakers now.
The app does not have the controls within it. but you should be able to hold down the home button on the remote (the Tv looking icon one) to bring up the system control center to change audio output.
