For what felt like months I had an issue with audio dropping for a fraction of a second in Plex.
I use an Ugoos SK1 as my player. Got two of them, one with SlimboxTV ROM and one with native Ugoos ROM.
The issue would be present on both of them.
I’ve an LG B4 OLED TV and a DENON avr-x1800h AVR.
The issue would happen no matter what audio stream type.
It looked to be a HDMI handshake/negotiation issue - on the Ugoos you can turn on an on-screen message when there is a change in audio or resolution and when the audio dropped the message would popup.
Tried all sorts to fix it - messing with auto frame rate, resolution.
Then I installed the old Plex client version 10.26.1.123 and the issue goes away.
(before I always installed the latest when available)
So…
Anyone else had something similar?
I think it may be related to the Amlogic chip of the SK1
