Audio Sync When Skipping

Hi,

Reading online it appears this issues been ongoing for years. Every time i skip a video the audio drops out of sync. This also happens when using the ‘skip intro’ button too and when a tv show ends and you press the back button and play the next episode it happens here too. The only way to resolve this is to go back to the main menu (home screen) and start or resume the the episode again. Is there a resolution to this? As a Plex pass subscriber this is very disappointing.

I’d also like to know why a button doesn’t automatically appear when it’s approaching the end of a tv show, asking to play the next episode, like it does on Emby? Why do you have to either press the back button to get to play the next episode or wait for the entire episode to finish?

Yes having the same thing on my Nvidia Shield it was a new bug that was introduced about a month and a half ago. Sometimes when the show would start it would be out of sync but most of the time it was after skipping intro. The only way to fix it is to rewind 10 seconds.

Same here. Has been an issue for ever now.

It’s become so annoying i’ve cancelled my plex pass and moved back to Emby.

Same thing happens to me. I’m using the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 and every single time I use “Skip Intro” or even sometimes when I start a show it is out of sync. You have to rewind it 10 seconds for it to go back to normal, but that is incredibly annoying.
