That’s it. I feel like this is a setting that I turned off at some point, but now I can’t find it, and neither can Google.
I would just like videos that I’ve completed to automatically be removed from playlists.
There were a lot of Google results about smart playlists, but nothing appearing to be officially from Plex, and I couldn’t find anything for videos, only music.
One way you could accomplish this would be to create a smart playlist with one of the criteria being " Episode Unplayed." Something like the following, for example:
As the episodes are played (you could also do this with movies), they would no longer match all criteria (Episode Unplayed) and would be dynamically removed from the playlist.
Select the Library tab of the library which contains the content you’d like to add to your playlist. In my case, it’s a TV Show-type library. Then, select Episodes from the second drop-down list:
Is there a way to add only individual episodes to the playlist? This one particular show, the way that I like to watch it is two episodes from each season, looping through all 9 seasons.
I basically watch it through once, manually deleting each episode from the playlist as I watch it, then when I get to the last episode that I had for the playlist, I make a new playlist, going back to the beginning, choosing two unwatched episodes from each season, and so on.
Okay so I can’t actually figure out how to add individual episodes to a smart playlist using any of these methods.
Trying to use those instructions, it recognizes that it has been saved as a collection, but when I try to filter by collections it says there aren’t any.
