Automatic library scanning doesn't seem to work any more (Ubuntu)

Automatic library scan has been working for years flawlessly.

Now, not at all.

Seems like in the last month or so, I need always go to the web UI, and manually kick off the scan, and it finds the new files right away.

Anyone else experience this?
