I have “Run a partial scan when changes are detected” set. None of the other automatic scanning options are checked.
When I add a file to TV programs (say) and go to the home page and click on the dots next to TV programs I can see “Cancel scan”, so I know a scan has been initiated. But this scan will never actually run; I have to cancel it and then “Scan library files” to actually see the new video in the library.
Same for new media added to any other library folder. The files are obviously detected, and the library shows “Cancel scan”, but I have to cancel and run manually to see it.,
Is this a known issue or is there some other setting I need to change?
