For example, was just playing my PiL playlist and no music after the playlist ended. Been doing this all day with every playlist I have played.

The logs imply that either:

  1. You have repeat enabled.
  2. You were listening to a radio station.
  3. Something else.

I’ve added some more logs to be able to distinguish these cases, but please make sure you’re not playing a station and you have repeat disabled (I’ve gotten this one confused before as well).

It also appears that you have “Similar artists” DJ mode enabled. If the artist you’re playing doesn’t have any similar artists, you’ll also not get anything.

None of those 3 points is the case.

Also, as the playlist is ending, autoplay displays similar artists in “up next” in the queue but it never plays.

Don’t you guys host a repository of downloads so that I can roll back out of this mess?

If you’re willing to help us figure out what changed, I’m happy to make an APK for you to try with more logging.

This is not just happening on Android. Mac OS version also does not auto-play. Screenshot to confirm it’s enabled:

Please tell us what you were playing, and what the Auto Play card said, and upload logs. Since we can’t reproduce an issue over here, we need more help to figure out exactly what’s happening, and unfortunately @Vectorgamer never replied.

Instructions? Playing any album with an album from the artist both newer and older than it in the library (viewable from the artist page). Card says “SILENCE the party is over.”

That means Auto Play is not enabled. Swipe the card to the left to enable it.

Did you not see my previous screenshot? It IS enabled. I have disabled and re-enabled a few times, but nothing ever shows up to continue playing.

Dude, I’m trying to help you.

The setting in your screenshot is the global enable/disable flag. In the play queue, there are different modes it can run in, including “silence”. If you swipe that “card” left and right it’ll show you the different modes.

Wow sorry. Maybe take it as a report that the UI is not obvious? Or doesn’t work? I was completely unaware of what you’re saying…

It took me a few tries finally to realize by “swipe” you mean “scroll”. Swiping on a computer means “click and drag” typically. This UI apparently requires a scroll action and there’s no indicator that it’s able to scroll (no paging dots, no scrollbar, no overflow UI)

Ah yep, we’re updating that component to one which shows <> buttons on hover to allow clicks to move between pages too on desktop.

Just installed the latest Plexamp on Android. This appears to be fixed at the moment.
