AVG blocking remote access

Hello,

I have read through the forums and added all of the ports suggested. AVG rep even remote access my PC. Still cannot use remote access unless I disable advanced firewall. Any suggestions? Thanks!

yes, I have all reviewed that article and have all ports added to AVG. It is still not working unless I turn off the firewall. This all started after a PLEX update about a month ago.

Not knowing AVG, but check if maybe it has kinda http inspection?

I’m not sure what that is. What should I be looking for?

That AVG maybe scans for http trafic

Thanks for your reply. I had already found that thread on the Plex forum. All my settings are set to the criteria suggested. It is still not working unless I turn the firewall off.

Then I guess it’s time to switch FW, since it’s clearly defective
