Bad playback performance 1080p H265 on iOS

Player Version#: 8.15 on iPhone 14 Pro on iOS 16.3.1

When I play 1080p H265 files the playback is choppy/contains jitter. This causes micro-stutter (no streaming issues). Files in 4K with HDR (also H265) plays without any problems, the same with H265 1080p with HDR. I’m using the enhanced player. When I use the old player then the file is being transcoded which I don’t want but plays without problems.

I have the logs from the client available (including screencap with overlay for info about the file) but as it can contains personal information (name etc) I want to submit my log by DM or other method.
