I have reciently installed plex on my ubuntu operating system. i need guidline..

when i browse it. then as a guest i can add library. and can access partations of my Computer which is privacy.

1- me want to disable all management as a anonymous.
2- Disable to signup option for everyone. so that no body can create library else admin.

see the attachment i am using as a guest but can create library and also can browse my ubuntu computer hard drive.

kindly suguest me how can i disable manage and its content from left pan. and remove signup option also.

After signing in, you will get a message about an ‘unclaimed’ Plex server in your local network.
Claim it.

The way I showed you above will lead to a ‘closed’ server which is not accessible without a login - IF you are using an up-to-date server version.
Which Plex Server version are you using? (Settings - Server - General)

i did install 1.2 in begining … but each guest viewer have to signup first. which is not my requirment. i dont want to force all guest users to sign in 1st… i remove that newer version and install older Version 0.9.16.6.

now i m using older version Version 0.9.16.6. in it no signin option is neccesory. but in it all guest user can create library. which should b ban

What you want is not possible.
Either all your guest users need to ‘sign in’,
or all users in the local network are able to access the admin controls.

if a user do sign in. then they should have not the permission to create library or access to see drives while adding library.
is it possible all admin controls just be with admin user… all new created user will not have admin rights??

Yes, this is how it works in Plex:
You have a plex account faraz_hamza to which you only know the password.
Your server is ‘signed in’ to the same account.

Your guests need one or several plex accounts of their own.
You can create them for free here https://www.plex.tv/sign-up/ (each new account needs its own unique email address)

Then you share one or several libraries with these new plex accounts.

Those ‘shared’ users cannot change anything in your server and libraries.

Don’t forget to update to a recent Plex server version.

No.

A new account cannot be created on the signup page.
And even if it could, a new account has no access to your server. Only plex accounts with which you actively shared your server, get access.

No. Plex is not skinnable - except the OpenPHT Plex client.
