Scroll back to 1970s an then attempt to go back to 1960s.
Result:
You can’t.
If I’d to guess this could be a side effect of the relevantly recent epoch timestamp format changes which plexamp is having trouble with. Before 1970 would be negative numbers.
Version 1.28.0.5998 of the server. Plexamp is on android.
Music library was only created approx 18 days ago so it’s newish. Let me also double check a track has played from before 1970 Pretty sure a few have but let me check the metadata to be sure.
Took a peek at the plexamp logs … here is an extract and you can see the year filter requests year>=1990&year<=1999 etc… as I switch years but then when I select 1960s it reports a warning and on the UI in plexamp it does not switch.

Really. They are 5 seconds after the previous ones and at exactly the same time I’ve tried to select 1960s in the UI. Anyhow, I’ll just live with it being broken for me.
BTW… uninstall and reinstall of the app makes no difference in case someone might have suggested trying that.
Still getting this even with plexamp v4.5. Anyone any idea how to debug this? As a test I tried a complete rebuild of server and could still reproduce it.
What does it mean “you can’t [go back]”?
Do you mean that the decade number stays on “1970”?
Or do you mean that you simply don’t get any albums displayed?
If I go back to the 1890s, I simply get an empty page (with Plexamp-typical snark on it).
Yes, that’s what happens. When I open up Best Of… its default page is 2020s so I select the < link to go back. I can go back 2010s etc… all the way to 1970s but when I try again nothing happens. It does not go to 1960s.
Interestingly if when I’m on the 1970s page if I then try and select > to go to 1980s that also now does not work. Basically, the < and > links no longer work once I’m on the 1970s page.
I’m using plexamp v4.5 for android on a Samsung S21 mobile.
