Best way to differentiate between multiple CD singles in Plex Music?

Is there any way to differentiate multiple Single versions with the same title in Plex without hard tagging the Album title metadata field?
Can Plex read any other type of field such as the “Media Type” metadata field?

Spoiler: In Plex, it’s best treat separate items as releases instead of albums, so a single would be treated the same as an album. But there’s more info in there.

Addition: I have a couple items with multiple versions, same name as an album, etc. Typically I’ll add something in brackets to the end (Like “[CD Single]” or similar).

Thanks…that’s what I figured but was hoping to avoid… I wish Plex could simply display the “Media Type” tag.
