Trying to figure out how to ignore the embedded thumbnail of Movies so I don’t have to change the poster every time I am adding a new movie. I tried going into the Agent settings but that doesn’t seem to be working. Every time I go into Agent it is always showing “Personal Media” instead of “The Movie Database” or Plex Movie (legacy). I realize I can change the thumbnail in windows but by that rate its just faster to change the poster in Plex but I want it to ignore the local video’s thumbnail.
The server-wide agent settings only apply to the legacy agents. The current-generation Plex agents can be configured in the advanced tab when editing each individual library.
… > Manage Library > Edit… → Advanced > Use Local Assets
Thank you for pointing this out to me. I didn’t see it in the Agent page on plex wiki stuff for some reason.
