No, nothing official except the ones mentioned on the forum. It’s still being investigated and once a fix is in place it should hopefully fix all of them.
Oh okay – for some reason I thought the fix was going to be on a per show basis but if its one fix which will hopefully fix all then that is even better.
Its the library that the DVR is recording. The Problem exist for all recorded shows that i have after a metadatarefresh.
Thanks, could you send me your logs? Settings → Troubleshooting → Download Logs.
I dont know if it is a known problem, but with the “old” agent i get music of the show if i click on the show. In the “new” agent i dont get the music. Will this get implemented?
Theme music is already supported. Can you give me an example of a show that doesn’t have theme music for you?
I may have mentioned this on the alpha preview thread but I’ll mention it again here in case I did not. One interesting side effect of this new agent is that when using the PMP app we now get cast list per episode.
Example below using Game of Thrones S01E01
PMP App:
Web App:
I’m guessing as its kinda old now its accessing a API call it probably shouldn’t. Also, trying to filter on these (selecting a cast member) results in a error. This error only happens when done at the episode level and works fine at the show level.
Oh sorry yes, i hear it now. It works
Another quick question, are you using XMLTV for guide data or using the data Plex provides?
What i am sure i have is english description of show, when i selected Dutch language. See picture. The left is the old agent and gets correct description, right is new agent and is showing english.
Double check the language setting on the library. There is a bug in the web client that resets this to English when changing agents during the setup of a new library.
Yeah i noticed that one when setting up this new library, so i changed it to dutch and already other shows are now correct. But some are still showing English. What can i do?
I have tried Les Miserables {tvdb-354256}, but it does not auto-match it.
Am I miss something?
@TheDeamon also notice the show duration in your screenshot, 5 hr 37 min. I’ve seen this happen for a few shows now where it gives the total duration of the show and not the average episode show duration.
Ah, okay. Looking closer at this show and there is no Dutch translation on TMDB for it and we don’t yet use translations from TVDB.
You can add a new translation to TMDB: The Undoing (TV Series 2020-2020) - Translations — The Movie Database (TMDB) in the meantime though and after a day or two refresh the metadata and it should update.
Ah alright, so i will check that for the shows showing english. Thank you for the fast replies.
And @anon5074910 i will check on TMDB for that if that is correct there.
I checked it, its 60 minutes for the runtime. Unless plex is getting the duration from some other location.
I’m asking about this duration bug now.
Okay that was easy to figure out.
The duration bug appears to be with mini-series as we use the runtime data from IMDb and they report the full length of the entire show for these.
We’re going to change this to use a different source to get the real episode runtime.
Which naming standard helps the agent the most? tvdb-xxxxxx or imdb-xxxxxx?
