Big problem with marking played or unplayed Nvidia shield web interface works fine just not in the shield for whole series selection

I just went to my friend’s house I have the 2017 Nvidia shield he has the 2019 and now it works on his but it doesn’t work on mine this is weird and my same movies work on his but not in mine I exited Plex and installed updates reinstalled the same thing what the heck

Answer me this everyone when is the Nvidia shield 2017 going to get the new Plex update

so into my friend’s house that I didn’t work on before and he is a 2019 Nvidia shield I have 2017 and the collections unplayed none played and stuff for working now only on his but it won’t work on mine what’s up with that and they have check marks now under the movies you played mine just have the bar underneath it so does he have a newer Plex that I can’t get or something for my Nvidia

I even uninstalled my Plex and reinstalled it on my video shield 2017 model and it still looks the same and it won’t work still but on his he has a checkpark a check mark and a little circle in the corner of each video if you play it and his playhole series unplayed or played works on his but my 2017 model doesn’t but he has a 2019 what’s up

And last time I was over at his house it was a little 3 weeks ago or 2 weeks ago it didn’t work and now it does

Problem has been fixed I got up from work today and now it works and I have the check marks now and everything it’s secretly installed something I don’t know how this happened but it didn’t work last night and now it does and it didn’t say it installed anything cuz I keep all my devices powered off with the power conditioner and only turn it on when I get home from work and then turn off again when I go to bed my whole TV and whole entertainment center
