I had a library setup and suddenly stopped worked, so i decided to delete the server and start over. Plex Media Server is installed and running on my Synology NAS. but when I attempted to add media to my library through my Mac or PC neither can locate “/volume 1” instead only shows a network drive. If I add this network drive through the PC or Mac, once either the PC or Mac is turned off… the server becomes unavailable.
How can I run Plex Media Server and add media files from my Synology NAS to my Plex Media Library through either my Mac or PC (because DSM has no web browser), but allowing me access to the media while the PC of Mac is turned off?
