Hey!
New to the NAS field. I was looking through the current topics and threads and could not find a solution after many attempts.
I recently purchased a Synology DS1520+. I installed the hard drives set up the volume and have it visible inside of the Plex Server. I am currently running the Plex Server on MacOS and want to keep the server there but use the NAS as the storage device.
When I go to add the library and select the folder to hold the information it shows the network drive as an option but then once selected it shows that there is nothing inside of the drive. I have set up permissions on the Synology DS1520+ to have PlexMediaServer as R/W but still nothing. I can access the folders through finder on my Mac but not within the media player.
Not sure what I am missing.
