Hope someone can help me out here. I Just got the Xbox One X and installed Plex about an hour ago. I’ve gone ahead and linked the new Xbox with my Plex server via Mac with the (plex.tv/link) link and entered the code. Now that I’m signed into Plex on the Xbox it won’t recognize any of my media and every category is empty and won’t even let me click on it. (Movies,Shows,Music, Etc)
I’ve been using Plex on my previous Xbox One and never had any issues with the server connecting
and loading up to show my media. Now I can’t get it to work at all on the new Xbox One X.
If anyone has any idea what I can do or If I’m doing something wrong I’d greatly appreciate some assistance.
Got my XBox One X yesterday, went through the linking and was able to play media.
Today, when I click on the media menus nothing happens.
I’ve confirmed that the server is fine (vcl player, iPhone app), but there is simply no media being listed.
I even reinstalled the app, and all is the same.
Getting really depressed by the Xbox app, given that this is why I bought an Xbox and PR2100, and it’s now impossible to actually watch anything using the Plex app
Any idea how you got yours working again - did you do anything?
I don’t know if I did something dumb, or it’s just the totally unintuitive new interface…
Going along the menus I noticed the little up arrow on the menu, so pushed up - and everything’s back!
