Broke Metadata

Hello all and happy Friday!

I was attempting to configure Plex to use local media first for my TV Shows (I want to put specific cover art in the folders). In the process I think I broke something. In series were I have never changed the posters to anything all the metadata is now gone., So cover art, synopsis or anything. I put the scanner back where they were “Plex TV Series” and “Plex Series” but even after refreshing the metadata it does not come back.

Before I delete the library and lose my watch history, does anyone have any suggestions to get this all back?

Looks like I have to manually match the ones not working. Simple enough

Does that mean you have changed them before?
That might have indeed broken your library.
I suggest restoring a database backup from before your experiments. https://support.plex.tv/articles/202485658-restore-a-database-backed-up-via-scheduled-tasks/

Never switch between new and old agents willy-nilly. Particularly not in a tv show library.

Thanks for the reply. The forums did not email me there was a reply, not sure why. I ended up building a new NAS and moving my Plex over to it. Decided to start from scratch so I am all good.
