Metadata Vanished - Must Manually Match Now

Server Version#: 1.67.2.3705-db506a00
Debian 11 Linux

Up until I swapped the order of items under ‘settings > agents > shows’ everything was working perfectly fine and matching, with only a few exceptions.

I messed with the plex agents earlier and refreshed all metadata. I noticed all of the info for my shows that was previously there is now gone. I now put it back to Plex TV Series for shows (scanner and agent under ‘manage > library’ and all the metadata is seemingly gone and will not populate unless I manually match each series. Upon manually matching the series, everything populates (show plot, year, studio, network, etc) back for that one title I did this for. I really don’t want to have to manually match my 300+ shows… I suppose I need to confirm the default options for the scanners and agents, as I didnt note that before, but they seemed to work fine.

I hope this isn’t too vague… I’m at a loss here… Do I just need to nuke everything? Seems ridiculous.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, thank you in advance.

EDIT: I noticed that if I do the ‘auto match’ under ‘fix match’ or ‘match’ on a specific series, it will populate all of the data back. So its not even a manual match necessarily. I’m just having to poke each show to get the data back.

Removing the library folder location, scanning, empty trash and then clean bundle seems to be populating everything back. Basically the Plex dance… still concerning this happened though.

Also, during this entire situation, Plex decided to remove access from about half of my friends. Didn’t know it until later. Adding them back gave them access, without manually accepting an invite. So very odd
