Broken update in mycloud ex2ultra

I am on the same WD-version.
Today’s Plex-update is not the first one on this version. Previous updates were fine. Today’s update broke my Plex.

maybe… if you help me doing a backup of the libraries… i can do a hard reset to my ex2ultra and try again?

(this option should be the last one…)

Our QA guys have not been able to on our test machine yet.

They could not reproduce it. I’ll ask if sharing via anydesk is possible

It is a very old article. That wouldn’t explain why it went just fine for years, and suddenly (without a OS-change) broke Plex.

Some users on Reddit also report this issue, so we are not alone.
I do wonder what the current steps are?

How are you guys installing the update? I’m just using the WD interface and it installed and runs just fine for me. This is from the other day when I first tested.

I have no other option to install it.

Did you install Plex or did you update it from a previous version?
I am always updating every update that way, never skipping one, and it always went fine.
Maybe the issue was inserted in the previous version?
