Server Version#: 1.7.5.4035
Player Version#: 3.91 I think

So been running plex for years with no issues on windows 7 pc. Last sunday a movie was stopping intermittently and then message came in tv connection lost. went to pc and found BSOD and have been trying to get plex to work ever since. BSOD is as follows:

{A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.

The problem seems to be caused by the following file: ntoskrnl.exe

IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE

If this is the first time you’ve seen this stop error screen,
restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.
If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer
for any Windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware
or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.
If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart
your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then
select Safe Mode.

Interestingly enough there are no plex error dumps or logs of any kind at all! And the BSOD only happens when trying to get libraries loaded into plex. Cant test plex cause cant load libraries. I’ve done all troubleshooting from microsoft and came up with nothing. No memory issues as al chips were tested, no driver issues just a video driver I updated, no overheating. I uninstalled plex using Revo uninstaller and started fresh and it keeps happening. Very weird.
Any help would be much appreciated. I’m stumped.
Thanks all.

I strongly suggest you run MemTest86 from passmark.com and run 3 complete, uninterrupted passes!! 2 versions available. One for BIOS only and one for UEFI
