Since a couple of months my windows-PC crashes when I update to a newer version of Plex Server of Plex Media Player. Sometime after installation, sometimes during installation. When it happens during installation I end up with corrupted files and have to start the installation again. When the installation happens after installation it works fine with the newest version. I always get a BSOD error: CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED.

I built a new server about 6 months ago and I placed library files from an older server to this PC (I didn’t want to lose my playlists and metadata). This worked fine but then the BSODs start to happen. I thought this might corrupted something or there was something corrupted with Win10. So I completely reinstalled the OS and made a fresh install of the Plex Server. Initial installing was no issue, but updating seems to be causing BSODs.
I don’t know what more logs could be of help here and I really want to fix this issue. It is very annoying and I don’t know what to do anymore. I’m happy to help with everything that can be of help.
