If the “use 5 star ratings” option is selected, the expectation should be the user is technical enough to make the selection inline.
To Reproduce:
Enable 5 star ratings in plexamp settings. Using the desktop Plexamp app, play any track. Press on the track to load the now playing view. Hover over the star icons.
NOTE:
cursor correctly changes to “Hand Pointer” indicating I may use exact precision to select the star rating. However,
BUG: instead a modal dialog slides up asking for a rating, then I must press Close to confirm.
This makes a basic rating a 3 step process.
Please also fix for mobile.
I should be able to select a star rating with one tap. If I tap above (on text of Track, Artist, Album) then you can show the same slide up menu with star rating option for those with muscle memory. You dont need to remove the existing functionality for users who prefer it. But for those with 5 star ratings, it will be much preferred to do inline.
