Inconsistency in Plexamp rating system within app

Noticed some inconsistency in the rating system for Plexamp. I prefer the one star system, especially when I’m listening from a mobile device. So, I can rate using one star from play mode…

But system reverts to 5 star system from context menu:

My setting is below:

Is there a means of having a global setting across the app according to setting, or better still have a library-wide system?

It’s actually done this way by design; if you bother to go into menus, you have the option to do a more detailed rating, but it’s still a single tap.

Sort of defeats the purpose of having the different tiers of rating as it is always one tap regardless, sometimes I want to rate tracks that are not playing, e.g. from my play history, bit taxing.

Isn’t it the exact same number of taps either way? In fact, if you want to rate something low, it’s a single tap with the expanded rater, whereas that’s two taps for the one-star one.

Not about the taps, I actually agreed that it’s a single tap regardless in the upvote in my post, it’s the precision when rating on mobile as alluded in my original post, screen size and thumbs require one star system… Nevertheless I do get the logic though from a context menu from now playing perspective, if users actually have use a functionality for it.
