BUG: Cannot force re-recording

Yesterday I had a corrupt OTA recording of a 1 hour show on PBS. It happens with OTA, no big deal. However, I am unable to get Plex to re-record the show at a later date I guess because Plex thinks the show was recorded successfully. Even when I select the exact time/episode to record Plex says “no upcoming airings”, which is not even the right error message.

Here are some ideas for the fix:

  1. make record ALL really record ALL, including all repeated episodes
  2. provide a “force re-recording” button
  3. provide a way to delete recording history
  4. add a manual record channel/time/duration feature

Any one of the above is better than my current solution which is to remove the package and completely delete the /var/lib/plexmediaserver directory. I know there is a feature suggestion related to this, but this is a bug, not a feature request.
