[bug] Casting Plexamp adjusts device media volume to match speaker volume

I’ve noticed over the last few months (at least) that when I go to cast a song playing on Plexamp, it’ll start the connecting to the Google Home speaker, increase the device media volume to match the speaker volume that it’s been set at, so now, if I want to watch something on the phone, I need to adjust the device volume, when it was fine before casting. It shouldn’t change the device media volume to cast.

My phone is a Pixel 7 Pro on Android 13.

Plexamp version: 4.6.3 but it’s happened before too.

Try changing settings > advanced > remote control > use hardware volume, perhaps?

Turning that option OFF (I guess it’s ON by default) did seem to solve the issue I was having. I’ll test it more in the coming days.
