i currently experience problems with livetv on android and (android based?) firetv plex clients. livetv starts, but pauses every 10-15 seconds. was there a recent change in those clients, because it worked well on both devices before. streaming is set to 8mbit (server is on a 100+mbps line), so the streams are transcoded.
playback on PC and iOS clients are still working without any issues.
if i record something and watch the recorded show everything works perfektly, so it only affects livetv

If you play at 720p it will play because it transcodes instead of Direct play. I know this is not acceptable. I believe for live tv they will have to make it transcode somehow when using 1080p.
i also tried transcoding to 720 and even lower. but no change. and the most important thing iOS and web app on a pc works withouth any issue.
on android there was just an update and now it plays agin without pausing?! firetv is still on version 6.12.0.3239.
ist there a changelog from the android app available and is there any way to get in touch with plex developers directly or a chance that an official can comment on livetv issues?
