I previously had to report this bug for versions 8.7 [Oct 2020] through 9.9 [Sep 2022] because, hey, it should only take 23 months to fix a bug, right? On Android, you can specify two manual connections in advanced settings and Plex should attempt to connect to the server and it will become visible in the menu. 9.28 does not.
This bug has been reintroduced with version 9.28 on Android.
It would appear this feature worked through 9.27.0.2856, and was broken first in 9.28.0.3162.
