BUG: Media Server will not Scan media after upgrade

Server Version#:PlexMediaServer-1.40.1.8227-c0dd5a73e-x86_64_DSM7.spk
NAS: Synology DS423+

After upgrading to this version of the server plex will not scan the media.

I have checked the share permissions
PlexMediaServer has Read & Write Allowed access

Media is in the Share: /volume1/media
Movies: /volume1/media/movies
TV Shows: /volume1/media/tv shows

Neither will scan.

Your server logs might show what’s going on when you attempt to scan those libraries.

Sorry for this.

Found the problem…

The files added to Plex didn’t have extensions so Plex couldn’t scan them.

Added the extensions and Plex is working OK.
