(bug) Missing episode thumbs, background pictures and covers after some hours - restart brings it all back

Server Version#: 1.25.2.5319
Player Version#: 7.26 (same issues on every browser)

After running for some hours, my flex server starts missing cover art, posters, backgrounds and thumbnails for some shows and movies. When I look at the log this I what I get.
If I restart Plex, everything works again, but only for a few hours, then covers starts to fail gain.

The logs says:
Format [JPEG] - Insufficient memory (case 4)
Error resizing an image, we don’t trust what we cached [C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Cache\PhotoTranscoder\2d\2db4b61cf25b9cd1b7aae51550fbb319b2421b7d.jpg]

I run Plex Server on Windows Server 2022 Standard (Version 21H2)
There is plenty of memory and storage available.

Any Idea to what the problem is?

Refresh Metadata, click on the horizontal Ellipsis/ Refresh metadata.

Thanks for the input, but that does not fix it.
A simpel restart of Plex Server fixes it all, but after at few hours it start to fail again. So all the meta data is there.

Ok, then try the following.

Thanks for the tip!
I’ll try that and see if that fixes the problem.
Stay tuned…

Regarding the Insufficient Memory errors in the logs is there other background tasks happening on your server like intro detection, sonic analysis, thumbnail generation? That might explain it if they are.

You could try and set them to run as a scheduled task rather than when media is added. They are set under settings - library.

Looks like this did the trick. It didn’t say it was corrupted but I did run the fix anyways, and I haven’t had any issues since.

thanks for the help!
