Posters Missing

Server Version#: 1.25.2.5319
Player Version#: 4.66.1
After last update posters sporadically disappear and refreshing metadata did not help. Had to reboot PMS before all posters came back. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Have the same issue. The Plex Media server.log shows some errors:

Have same issue. And restarting server fixed it for now.

Yep. but restarting it everyday… It must have something to do with the nightly scheduled tasks Plex is doing. Because every day different posters are missing. I’m gonna do a restart and disable all tasks and then enable them one by one. See what’s causing havoc.
I do have an end time set for my tasks. Maybe one that gets the bundles is terminated too early? Will disable that one first and then forward on that.

Same here. Has it been resolved for you? Thx

Yes, just did:

Disabled the Guest account on the machine. Why it was enabled, I don’t know but disabling it, immediately solved the issue.

Thanks! I restarted Plex server and it is resolved…for now

Well, that worked for a day. Once again the posters are gone with the same error. Dug a little deeper in the Power Saving settings and disabled HDD going to sleep after xxx minutes (0 = never), although it’s runbning from an NVMe drive, and disabled some other settings that may lead to a sleep or suspend mode of hardware (USB and PCIe).

The machine is headless. Maybe attaching a monitor to the IGP HDMI port? (It’s an i5-9600K).
Little annoying drama.

So far the powersave disablement options fixed a lot. After some hours of not touching my Plex, all images are still loaded.

And disabling Windows Defender for scanning the folders were the images are stored helped even more.
That’s:
C:\Users\[Insert the username Plex is running under here]\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Cache\PhotoTranscoder\
If that folder is disabled, folders in that folder will not be scanned as well.
