When playing items that are downloaded to my iOS device (iPad), they randomly restart. When they restart they go all the way back to the beginning. It seems to get worse over time. For example, if I’m playing something and it restarts I will use my finger to get back to where I was. Then it will restart again after a short bit, and I repeat the same process and it restarts again - and this loop continues with less time between restarts.
The one thing I’ve found that seems to fix it is:
- After a restart, get to the position you were before it restarted.
- Have the video play for a few seconds.
- Stop the video
- Completely close and restart the player itself.
- Then select the video again on the downloads screen.
2 other bugs:
- Playback of any item does not check to see if I have it downloaded first… it always streams unless I manually go in and select the downloaded item.
- Playback of a downloaded item does not do “play next” even though I have the next item downloaded.
