When watching downloaded content, playback will frequently reset to the beginning. This has been an issue since the new app was launched.
I watch downloaded content on a long train journey (3hrs) each week and that is when I experience this issue. During the ride I pass through multiple instances and combinations of 5G, 4G, EDGE, no signal, WiFi etc. I’ve seen a number of users report a similar issue in the past due to network switching and have seen fixes for this mentioned in the release notes of multiple versions but the issue persists for me.
If I turn on Aeroplane Mode the issue ceases which leads me to believe that this has something to do with the network switching.
Turning on Aeroplane Mode itself is enough to reset play ack to the begining.
