iOS player keeps rewinding downloaded content

I watch mostly downloaded content on low signal public transport. I watch by going to My Profile icon in the top right → Downloads then watch shows from there.

For the last 2 versions of the app, I have issues where the show keeps rewinding to a point in time.

If I put the device into airplane mode, this appears to stop happening, but this isn’t workable for some of my commutes.
Anyone else seeing this?
