Bug: Plex Home users can't access Common Sense Media

Plex Home users that click on the new Common Sense Media icon are told they need a Plex Pass to see the detail screens.

My understanding is that Plex Home users fall under the ownership of the admins Plex Pass (they do for everything else).

Looks like full plex accounts do not inherit this Plex Pass feature. Managed users do.

I’m seeing the same with regular accounts in my Plex Home. Managed accounts can see the details.

The Common Sense Media support document says, “Accounts with a Plex Pass, or are members of a Plex Home where the home admin has a Plex Pass, get some more useful information from CSM to help you stay informed about what you and your family are watching.”

It does not differentiate between, or even mention, regular accounts and managed accounts.

I’ve asked for clarification.

Home users where the admin has a Plex Pass should now be able to access all the Common Sense Media details.

Confirmed that it is working for full plex accounts under plex home.
