Hi after updating my PMS to the version above doing a scan on my Music Library plex no longer selects a default cover art how it used to. I have tried refreshing the metadata etc but still it does not work unless i manually select the image under the poster section.
Here is a screen shot
As you can see the image is there but for some reason plex does not select it automatically it has to be done from this pop up manually.
I can confirm after rolling back my docker container to [1.24.2.4973-1-01] I no longer have the issue where i have to manually select album artwork. Can someone show me where to submit this as a BUG?
Same problem here as well. Since updating to the latest version, Plex isn’t pulling in the cover art OR the album year from my local tags when adding new albums. My other 100,000+ tracks are all okay - it’s only happened on the dozen or so albums I’ve added since updating.
And yes… my tags are correct - I’m an OCD tagger. Everything appears as expected in foobar2000, Logitech Media Server and my Sonos system.
I am using Personal Media Artists agent, Prefer Local Metadata, Use embedded tags for Genre and Album Art from Local Files Only.
I have the same exact issue with a big music library with embedded cover art. Anything new I’ve added to it in the last month does not show the art anymore. Refreshing directories, scanning, toggling the Advanced library settings back and forth, the art is there in the Poster tab for each album but it never shows by default. Even after updating to version 1.24.3.5033 that said it fixed this problem, it hasn’t worked.
