[BUG] Plexamp Voice Control Selection Incorrect

When using Siri to play a track or album using Plexamp, it generally decides to play an unrelated track or album by the same Artist. It seems to be biased towards offline items, which tend to find very loose match and plays that.

Log example:

“Hey Siri, play Since You Been Gone by Rainbow”

In that example, “Bent Out of Shape” is an album by the same artist that I had downloaded for offline play; it does not contain the track that I requested.

Ah yeah, I can see what we’re doing failing in some cases such as the one you point out. Thanks for picking the lines out of the log to help with diagnosis, we’ll look into improving the behavior.

Just FYI, we added an improvement to how the matching happens. It will try to pick from the offline items when available, but only when both the artist and album match. That means that for specific tracks it will probably skip and use search.

Fix will be in the next release.
