Bug report - cannot view thumbnails of tv-shows + movies in Plex on VIDAA

Logs attached - further information here - Still cannot get thumbnails to appear in libraries + shows.

Steps to reproduce - I have “TV Shows” and “Movies” pinned - when I go to either of these, I see a grey rectangle with the unread count instead of seeing the thumbnail picture. I can view the thumbnail pictures

  1. From a FireTV running on the same network (plugged in to the TV)
  2. From the built-in browser on the TV pointing to the web-page of my Plex server

hi - can I get an acknowledgement from the Plex Dev team – that this is being investigated as a potential bug?

Am hoping for feedback from the Plex team – hopefully you’re investigating this as a bug in the VIDAA player – any other information that I can provide?

perhaps I’ve found a workaround…

Under settings | Advanced - I’ve set “prefer insecure connections” to “never” (it was “always”) - and the thumbnails now appear!

Thanks for your suggestion. I tried setting “Prefer Insecure Connections” to “Never” and the same issue occurred. I turned on the “Show console log overlay” and got the attached errors.

I then also set “Allow Insecure Connections” to “Never” and it resolved the issue and I now have thumbnails :+1:t3:

Hi changing both to never got the posters loading but doesnt allow the playing of 4k Media just seems to be loading the doesnt load. Changing them back to anything else and plays OK. Any Ideas?
