On those the Recently added is taking information from all libraries and putting it together in one hub, as an example: Latest Added Movies includes movies from all hubs.
The issue start with other native clients like iphone, apple tv or Samsung Tizen.
Manually editing the hub on an Iphone (the behaviour is the same for all above devices), as libraries appears duplicated:
The result is the same on all devices, the hubs are spplitted in several ones as shown in the below animated picture:
This is not happening on the Samsung Tizen app on the normal access:
this is how plex wants it to be now, we are using the software incorrectly by having our own genres, we should be using collections and have everything lumped together in one folder, or so i was told by a plex employee
that system also assumes you should know exactly what you wish to watch each and everytime you sit down in front of it, cos to hell with using collectiona and drilling down i shall be sticking with my own curated sidebar genres
I will agree with you if not were because the hubs are duplicated on the manual homescreen hubs configuration, so I understand this is a bug or malfunction.
And BTW if those where the case the web client in last version must have this behaviour and it’s not the case
Again if this is the expected behaviour the last web client must act in the same way and it’s not. Web client is continuing consolidating hubs of same kind (Movies with Movies, etc).
with the latest server updates for both my synology and wd nas boxes the web version sadly changed to the new look, tour server may be inline for this update soon too then
