I’m experiencing some strange behavior with the generated “collage” background image on one of me smart collections. I’ve had this issue before, and usually changing the search/filter criteria to include additional content and then changing it back causes the image to be rebuilt correctly. It seems to start with a collection that has one movie, then gets more added. For some reason this one Smart Collection of mine has a “poster” image that is just one title, not additional titles in the collection.
My “filters” are “writer” or “director” is “John Grisham”. I currently have three titles that qualify. They are: “A Time to Kill”, “The Firm” and “The Pelican Brief”. The “poster” image is only The Pelican Brief and does not include the other two titles.
I changed the settings to temporarily include another director, which added one additional title to the collection. The image was re-built and showed the four titles in a “collage” as-expected. I then reverted to the original settings and the image rebuilt to only include the one title again.
I’ve been able to fix other collections in this manner, and once fixed they are fine going forward as additional content is added. This one is quite subborn.
