I ripped the audio track from a popular broadway show so its almost 900mb audio file, and PlexAmp cant seem to download it past the screen going to sleep, so I have to constantly wake it up and hit “refresh” on iOS iPhone 11, on my iPad, I dont even get that refresh option.
any ideas?

If as I understand it, you’re trying to download it to your device for offline play, due to the way iOS manages applications running in the background, Plexamp gets killed by the phone if the screen is off or you switch to another app.
As a workaround, if you’re actually playing music in Plexamp, iOS won’t kill the app. You can start playing something while you wait for the download to finish to keep the app running. You can even put the volume right down as low as it goes if you don’t actually want to listen to anything at the same time.
