Unfortunately I donāt have the logs anymore.
But it my 1st post is a test file you can use to recreate the fault yourselves, gather logs as needed and ensure you fixed the issue 
Any reply please Plex support, have you used the sample file ?..

I think Ill give up on Plex ever fixing this.
My C9 is supposed to support DTS, but both the TV Plex App and the XBox1X Plex App remains stubbornly silent.
Im waiting for the HDFury VRRoom to land in the UK
Finally allow DTS sound from source to your sound system even if your TV does not support it.
Genuinely cant understand why the most powerful console available cant do this, but time to move on.

I do have dts sound unbound and I also bought the licence, and dts sound isnāt working.
Anything planned for this issue?
Also experiencing this issue. I get the error ācannot direct stream with protocol: dash, codec: dca. reason: dca is only available with direct play.ā I have Direct Play and Direct Stream enabled

Iām sorry I donāt have an update. For those who have not yet can yall enable logging to server reproduce issue then message me your server logs that I can add to bug report.
Hi, for those who are able to play a movie using the Plex app on Xbox Series X, did you have to do anything special? Iām trying to get mine to work, but getting a Playback Error - An unexpected playback problem occurred.
Tried copying and renaming Xbox One.xml profile per another thread but that does not solve the problem. Also tried setting allow insecure connections to always.
Any help will be much appreciated! Iām able to play back fine with other clients on the same network such as on my nVidia Shield, Apple TV 4K and FireTVās. Thank you!

Is there any progress on this issue as it renders half my media unplayable on the Xbox as no sound at all from anything with dts audio
Having the same error. Will not play audio on my plex system on Xbox One X, Denon avr and Samsung TV if the encoding is DTS-HD. Is this going to be resolved soon? I have others using other codexes, but that one is hit or miss.
For the record, Iām experiencing the same issue on Xbox one S but for Dolby True HD.
DTS HD MA is playing fine in direct stream, but DOlby True HD is playing silent and I got the same ādash codec: dca. dca can only be played via direct playā log message.
Same issue with DTS Unbound installed. Will work with Dolby Tracks but not DTS and PCM. Hope someone will take a look at this.
Direct Play - no sound.
Direct Stream - sound transcoded to aac, works.
If I leave both on, it defaults to Direct Play, and I get no sound.
(Series X console, and I have the DTS app installed)
Here are some logs but I donāt think they will really help looking at them.
Why canāt the developer download the supplied test file and use that himself to debug?!
