I’ve tried to combine everyone’s issues on the reddit post to make a thread on the offical forum in hopes the issues are recognized and worked on, If I’ve missed any please comment below and I’ll try to edit the post and add them.

Sometimes scrubbing back and forth on a video causes the video to freeze or crash plex altogether

For videos already in progress, long pressing on it and selecting “mark as unplayed” marks it as played instead

When watching videos back-to-back in a playlist, the videos don’t get marked as played as each video completes but instead I have a stack of videos with playback almost complete but not

The up and down scrolling on a playlist causes a weird animation screen skip when scrolling up again after scrolling down

Playing a video: Sometimes the audio starts normally, but presents a frozen still of the video (apparently pulled from ~30s in) and stays that way. Stopping and starting the video fixes it.

Sorting of unpinned libraries: The list on Android TV and Android will only use whatever order you created them in (sorting by object ID), whereas the web UI and iOS app use name-based ordering. Automatic and drag-to-reorder works with pinned libraries in all 4

If I skip ahead a lot (let’s see holding the forward button to go forward 300 seconds), audio and video goes off sync. I have to rewind once (10 seconds) for it to get back in sync. I’m on the Shield also.

Using “Skip Intro” sometimes causes audio to stop playing

When navigating the main menu, a given library often comes up empty. You have to navigate away from the library and back (multiple times, sometimes) to get items in the library to populate.

Enabling the “Keep Watching” row for Plex on the Android TV homescreen often shows 2

Constant skips and stutters on HDHomerun Live TV (that doesn’t appear in the stock “Live Channels” app)

first audio track on each video will always be the default, On other platforms, you can either choose your default or Plex can choose it based on your sound system and language. On ATV, it’s always the first audio track.

Starting playing back can sometimes, causing the spinning circle of doom, back out and play it again then it plays, sometimes takes a few attempts…

skip intro, If I don’t skip it quick enough the intro button disappears, bring up the player menu to click it, it appears for 0.5 seconds then disappears again

Playing next episode while watching an episode normally causes spinning circle.

Audio Sync Issue when fast forwarding.

If video paused and plex locks, unlocking and pressing play, plays audio but then video takes 10 seconds to catch up.

Trying to continue watching a 4K HDR remux file part way through or file that would transcode also refuses to play, normally have to start from the beginning and fast forward to where I was.
