Bugs introduced in Beta Android TV 9.25.0.2253

Server Version#:
Player Version#: 9.25.0.2253
Hi Team, noticed a few visual bugs in the latest android tv beta version.
First is the watched status does not update in continue watching or for tv in the episode view, you would need to go back in and out to refresh the watch status. EDIT: noticed now that for movies if you start them, pause them, and come back to complete it, the movie library will show the movie completely watched, but the continue watching row still shows the movie partially watched.
Second is on the plex main screen when you go into the tv episode and back out quickly. When you back out to the plex home screen, you will see the season row at the very top of plex home screen, and the theme song continues to play on the home screen.
Third, noticed the general UI is not as smooth as what it was prior to 9.23.x versions.
EDIT:
Found another bug. When end credit roll for a tv show and the screen becomes small to show the next episode with the countdown. The countdown automatically goes to 1, and the after all the end credits finsihed, the countdown starts from 3, and then plays next episode when countdown from 3 finishes. This was not there in prior to 9.23.x versions as well.

Thanks for the report, we’ll look into fixing those issues.

@marekszulik Thank you for the response. Can your team also take a look at this issue?

This issue has been going on for months and I narrowed it down for content that is Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Essentially after some time of viewing any media with both Dolby Vision and Atmos, the OSD becomes unresponsive, when trying to bring up the OSD while media is playing, the media also becomes unresponsive. The only way to mitigate was to force close the plex app and start it again. That only works for a little while and the problem appears again.
I did notice this happening more frequently after the memory leaks fixes from long time ago.

^ Can confirm that this happens to me as well.

@marekszulik 1 item has been fixed in the latest beta update. The fixed item is a TV show season numbering at the very top of the screen is no longer at the plex main screen.

The continue watching bug is still there but different. If I go into the tv episode from the continue watching row and finish the episode, the continue watching row will show the status of the episode as watched, but it will not show the next unwatched episode unless I switch screens or go into the tv episode details. Also when I go into a tv show and back out to the plex main screen, the theme song still plays fully instead of cutting out.
The other bugs are still present.
EDIT: noticed now that when an tv episode is on ending credits and smaller screen with the next episode screen on the right, the countdown circle is shown without any countdown numbers

@marekszulik checking on to see any updates on the bugs as they are still present in 9.26.x beta release.
I also found another bug with continue watching row. If you watch a tv show from the Rediscover row, it will not show up in the continue watching row. It would disappear and you are then forced to go into the library and search for the tv show to continue watching.

Looks like the only issue remaining after the 9.27.x is the continue watching row in the plex home screen. Where it does not update unless you close the app or navigate through other libraries.
Before you could even mark shows as watched and the next episode would appear immediately. Also when watching a show from the continue watching row, whether 1 or a few episodes, it shows the episode you started as partially watched.

@marekszulik
The continue watching row bug is still present on the plex main screen. Where you watch a tv show or even a movie it appears. When continuing a tv show, the episode you started watching remains unless you exit the app and come back. And if you are watching a movie from your library, not continuing a movie, watching a movie from beginning, it shows up in the continue watching row saying you watched about 25% of the movie. When you hover over the movie it shows that it has been “watched”
I did find a new bug for continue watching that was not there in earlier versions. If you have multiple copies of movies or tv show in different libraries and all copies shows up in continue watching row, I used to be able to select the 1 version and remove from continue watching, and it will keep the other version still. Say I have a tv show in 4k and in 1080p in its own 4k library and 1080p that I pinned in the plex main screen and I watch a tv show that exists in both libraries and shows up in continue watch row of the plex main screen, I used to be able to select the 1080p version and remove from continue watching, and keep the 4k version up on continue watching. This is no longer possible and would like to see for it to come back, it will allow to keep the continue watching row more clean.

All good in 9.29.0.3217- version
