I have several Sonos zones in my home and over the years the Sonos integration has failed a few times. When this happened I turned to other means to play music on my server.
I was using PlexAmp a few weeks ago fine with my Sonos zones but tested the beta PlexAmp a few days ago and since haven’t been able to connect to my Sonos zones. A coincidence I feel, but this time I did something about it.
This isn’t a support post, but me offering for free-to-use my own Caldera Sonos Bridge.
It’s in v0.1.0 stage and works for me, and is very snappy when switching between Sonos zones.
One minor bug, the progress bar doesn’t keep time. It’s lagging but catches up. I’ll fix this next week.
