I’ve been using Plexamp for a long time and I have an extensive Sonos setup. Plexamp and Plex have always been challenging and buggy when trying to play through my Sonos system (likely due to Sonos integrations) but now I can’t even find any of my Sonos devices. I have tried all platforms (iOS, Android & PC).
Did Plexamp just call it quits with Sonos?
It’s still working for me when casting from my android phone to Sonos although the usual issues (stopping after a minute and lowering the volume) are still there.
After some investigation with my Plex server it seems that something interrupted the authorization for Plex to Sonos…I reauthorized it and back to BAU.
Would still like to see all of the many integration bugs that exist with Sonos be improved…
That’s good to hear. And yeah there’s plenty of issues with the Plex integration and sonos…
