To my knowledge I believe I followed all the steps in allowing my pictures to be uploaded automatically to plex. On my android cell phone I see Plex Camera upload 0/236 uploaded. 236 meaning the number of pictures it is trying to upload. It has been stuck there for the passed hour. My phone is connected to the same wifi. I am logged into the same account on my cell phone as my plex server. My plex server is located on my Nvidia shield as well. My shield was on standby at the time and I eventually turned it on completely and still no pictures were uploaded. Not sure if I missed a step. If anyone can give me some pointers to check would be appreciated. Thank You.
Just chiming in with the same problem. This worked when I was running off a Windows PC, but now that I am running off the Shield it refuses to upload photos from my phone. It is also a big battery drain when it tries. It’ll run the battery dead in a couple hours if I don’t kill the process.
Update: I had an idea. My main storage is a drive attached to my router. The share to the Shield does have read/write permissions. I was thinking maybe the Shield was having problems writing to external storage. I also have a 64GB USB stick as adoptable storage. I created a folder on there and added it to the photos library. Now the phone has no problem uploading photos. So there must be some issue with external vs internal storage and camera uploads.
